CSIP works and is funded by the Department of Health. We work in partnership with other health and social care organisations, including colleagues in the regional Strategic Health Authority and Government Office, to achieve our aim of improving services and outcomes for people using services in our four programme areas: children and families; health and offender partnerships; mental health; and social care.

The Department of Health is currently reviewing how it operates within regions, to ensure it is best placed to support its partners to meet the future challenges facing health and social care.
